Breads and patisseries fresh from the oven, fresh milk and eggs, flavour-filled, regional vegetables, regional charcuterie and pates, mountain grazed meat and some of the World's finest artisanal cheese and select wines. Ingredients like these are a chalet cook's dream and they inspire our talented team to produce dishes that will make your mouth water and make you want to rush home after a hard day's fun on the slopes.
Culinary delights
To help you sample as many culinary delights as possible and make sure you have sufficient energy to ski the whole Paradiski, we serve three meals a day: breakfast, afternoon tea and a wonderful homemade and lovingly prepared dinner, akin to bistro style dining. A choice of fine wines (2 white, 1 rose and 3 red varieties) are selected to compliment your dinner and are included on an unlimited basis throughout your evening meal in the catered chalet experience price. Your hosts also love good food, so they can make recommendations on the best restaurants to visit during their days off.

Drink Selection
Selection of 2 white and 3 red bottled fine wines available with every meal, including fruit juice or squash. Unlimited and at no additional cost.
Entree
Spiced pear, endive, walnut and Roquefort salad with balsamic reduction and walnut oil
Plat De Resistance
Pork fillet with a fig and nut farce on creamed chickpea puree with a port sauce
or
Vegetarian option of twice baked Goats cheese soufflé with sautéed beetroot and cherry sauce.
Dessert
Chocolate Fondant with vanilla ice-cream or crème anglasis
Fromage

Fresh coffee and chocolates to finish around the fire or at the dining table, your choice.

We take our food as seriously as our skiing! Happy holiday memories should be shared around the dining table and we will do whatever we can to ensure that everyone is catered for. No dietary requirements, allergies or food preferences are too much trouble.
With kids of our own, we understand how important their meal time happiness is to a relaxing holiday! Younger palates might not appreciate our sumptuous cuisine just yet, so we pay just as much attention to providing nutritious, tasty and familiar foods, with a few holiday specials...ensuring smiles all round.
Celebrate in style
Christmas and New Year weeks see the chalets sparkle with Christmas tree lights and decorations. Christmas dinner is a lavish affair and our New Years' cocktails are legendary! Please let us know of any other special occasions and we will happily make arrangements for cakes, birthday toasts etc to make it an occasion to remember.
Your Catered Experience: What's included
Breakfast*: Freshly baked bread from the local boulangerie, eggs, porridge and the aroma of freshly cooked croissants and pain au chocolate will help raise you from your comfy bed. Combined with a plentiful buffet of cereals, muesli, yoghurt, fruit, jams and juices, you will be fully fuelled for a day on the slopes.
Afternoon tea: A sumptuous spread of freshly baked cake or biscuits, local breads and jams with tea, coffee and juices await you on your return from the mountains.
Dinner*: After relaxing in the sauna, jacuzzi or bars, enjoy a fantastic three course meal paired with a choice of fine wines**, indulge from the local cheeseboard* and top the meal off with fresh coffee and chocolates.
* For Peak weeks (Dec 22nd - Jan 5th / Feb 9th - 23rd / March 23rd - April 6th), we also include two cooked options served 6 of 7 mornings, plus after the evening meal, a gourmet, local cheeseboard (served every other night). These can be included as optional extras for whole chalet bookings for other weeks (£50 per adult, £20 per 2 to 12 yrs old).
** We serve 2 white, 1 rose and 3 red wines throughout the meal and in unlimited quantities! During the summer months we have the enviable task of selecting our favourite French wines from across the whole of France for the forthcoming season. This season we would like to introudce a new range (offered in Red, White and Rose) - the Reserve De La Saurine. It is a Vin Du Pays Du Gard and comes highly recommended:

The winemaker's word: Wine with a beautiful pale golden yellow colour with light green reflections announcing the bright and delicate character of this wine. The nose is focused on an expressive flower notes which is melted with beautiful notes of ripe pear and mineral freshness. In mouth this wine is very pleasant and fresh. To be served fresh (12°c - 13°c) with tapas, shellfish platters, starters, fishes. |
